The setting was wonderful, near to castle and cathedral, and the Botanic Gardens. Spent our evenings in nearby Hams Hame, especially when it was rainy outside.

The staff was very nice and the location was second to none if you want to be near the golf course. The rooms were clean and simple but not luxurious and the breakfast was simple but good.
The television service was very limited.

No radio in room. No hairdryer in room and when I asked for one I was told that there weren't any. When I said I thought that this was very surprosing, the staff rather unwillingly went off for 10 minutes and came bakc with a hairdryer.

The location was excellent that is probably why it is so expensive. But i was not there to golf!
The hotel was grossly over priced. The quality of the accommodation was not worth the price. I paid 60 GBP less than friends staying in the 5 star Fairmont hotel for a hotel that was probably only a 2 star in terms of facilities. A travel inn is 60 GBP per night and better quality and i paid 133 per night! not what I expected for the money.

Very good and lovely breakfast with vegetarian option and nice views. Particularly good and amazing location so close to the restaurant, the most famous golf course and the waterfront, golf and shopping in a very very nice area. For tea or coffee visit Taste nearby.
